Previous School Experience Essential

A high-performing secondary school in Wandsworth is looking for an experienced Behaviour Manager to work alongside its pastoral and safeguarding teams.

Previous school experience is essential ideally in a role involving behaviour management pastoral support inclusion or student welfare.

This is a practical student-facing position where youll be expected to be visible around school and proactive in addressing behaviour concerns.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Managing behaviour incidents and follow-up

  • Supporting targeted students

  • Monitoring attendance and punctuality

  • Delivering behaviour interventions

  • Working with Heads of Year

  • Supporting students with behaviour plans

  • Leading restorative conversations

  • Liaising with parents and carers

  • Maintaining behaviour records

  • Supporting whole-school behaviour initiatives

About You

Youll need excellent communication skills good judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Experience with challenging behaviour SEMH safeguarding or secondary-aged students would be highly advantageous.
