Job Summary
An established independent co-educational school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a Behaviour Manager on a full-time temporary basis from October Half Term 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pastoral professional to join a school that places equal importance on academic success student wellbeing and personal development. Youll work closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure pupils remain engaged supported and able to flourish throughout their school journey.
Youll take responsibility for supporting students whose behaviour or pastoral needs require additional intervention helping to create a positive learning environment where every pupil can succeed.
Responsibilities include:
Providing day-to-day behaviour support across Key Stages 3 4 and 5
Working with students to develop personalised behaviour improvement plans
Supporting teachers with behaviour management strategies and classroom interventions
Meeting with parents and carers to discuss progress and agree support plans
Coordinating restorative practice following behavioural incidents
Monitoring behaviour attendance and punctuality data to identify emerging concerns
Liaising with safeguarding staff and external professionals where appropriate
