A high-performing 1118 school in Hackney is looking for a confident and experienced Behaviour Manager to join its established pastoral team.
Previous experience working in a school is essential ideally within a secondary school and in a behaviour pastoral inclusion or student support capacity.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining high expectations while providing appropriate support to students who struggle with behaviour or engagement.
Managing the schools daily behaviour systems
Supporting students with behavioural concerns
Delivering targeted interventions
Monitoring behaviour and attendance data
Working with Heads of Year and SLT
Supporting internal inclusion
Leading restorative conversations
Contacting parents and carers
Maintaining detailed student records
Identifying recurring behaviour patterns
You should be resilient organised and comfortable working with students who display challenging behaviour.
Experience with SEMH de-escalation safeguarding or restorative practice would be an advantage.
