Job Summary

A successful Catholic secondary school and Sixth Form (1118) in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Manager to join its pastoral team on a full-time permanent basis from October Half Term 2026.

Working as part of an experienced pastoral team youll support students in overcoming behavioural challenges while helping to maintain the calm and purposeful learning environment the school is known for.

The Role

The Behaviour Manager will work across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 supporting students through early intervention restorative practice and positive behaviour strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading behaviour support for students requiring targeted intervention

  • Working closely with Heads of Year the Inclusion Team and Senior Leaders

  • Supporting students following suspensions or periods of absence

  • Monitoring behaviour attendance and punctuality producing reports where required

  • Building strong relationships with parents carers and external agencies

  • Promoting restorative approaches that encourage positive behavioural change

  • Maintaining accurate records using the schools management information system

The Successful Candidate

The school is looking for an experienced Behaviour Manager Pastoral Manager Behaviour Mentor Inclusion Officer Student Support Officer or similar professional with experience working in a secondary school.

Youll be organised resilient and able to build positive relationships with students while maintaining high expectations and consistent behaviour standards.
