We are currently recruiting enthusiastic compassionate and reliable Bank Support Workers to support across a variety of our services throughout Nottinghamshire. This is a multi-site role providing flexible support wherever it is needed making every day different and rewarding.
As a Bank Support Worker you will work with the people we support to help them live fulfilled and independent lives. You will encourage choice promote independence and support people to be active and valued members of their local community. Active Support is at the heart of everything we do helping people achieve their goals build confidence and live life to the fullest.
Your role may include:
- Supporting people with daily living activities
- Encouraging independence and personal development
- Supporting individuals to access their local community
- Assisting with hobbies interests and social activities
- Prompting and supporting with personal care
- Supporting with medication following training
- Helping maintain a safe positive and supportive environment
- Completing accurate records and documentation
We are looking for people who are:

- Passionate about making a difference in peoples lives
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role as you will be required to travel between multiple FitzRoy services across Nottinghamshire.
Previous experience in care or support work is beneficial but not essential. Experience supporting people with learning disabilities autism mental health needs complex behaviours or physical disabilities would be advantageous however full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Vacancy Details
- Pay: 13.20 per hour
- Contract: Bank hours
- Locations: Multiple FitzRoy services across Nottinghamshire
- Shifts available:
- Early: 7:00am to 2:30pm
- Late: 2:30pm to 10:00pm
- Long Day: 7:00am to 10:00pm
- Flexible weekday and weekend shifts available
- Public holiday enhancements paid at time and a half or double time where applicable
