Bank Cardiac Perioperative Practitioner Competitive Hourly Rate Flexible Working Hull

Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Perioperative Practitioner to join our Bank Theatre Team.

As part of our specialist cardiac service you will support the delivery of high-quality perioperative care across a range of cardiac procedures working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team committed to exceptional patient outcomes. We are looking for a flexible enthusiastic and patient-focused practitioner who is passionate about clinical excellence and thrives in a dynamic theatre environment.

Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital is based in Anlaby near Humber Bridge and the hospital provides care for patients across East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. Our hospital offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic general surgery weight loss surgery eye surgery and cosmetic surgery. Other services include radiology - MRI and CT and physiotherapy. We believe its our people that really set us apart we work with the very best medical professionals and our colleagues are an attentive and highly experienced team.

Duties and responsibilities;

  • Supporting patients through their perioperative journey during cardiac and cardiothoracic procedures.
  • Delivering high-quality care within a specialist theatre environment.
  • Working alongside consultants anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams during complex cardiac interventions.
  • Operating and maintaining specialist cardiac equipment and monitoring technologies.
  • Promoting patient safety dignity and excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Contributing to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who were looking for

  • NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered ODP.
  • Theatre experience within cardiac cardiothoracic or acute surgical settings is essential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Commitment to professional development and clinical excellence.
