Spire Bushey Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Neurophysiologist to join our amazing team on a flexible working bank contract.

Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre. Our theatre team cover a wide variety of specialties including Ortho Bariatric General Gyane ENT Urology Plastics Ophthalmics Spinal.

Duties and responsibilities

As a Neurophysiologist you will be responsible for performing a wide range of neurophysiological tests and procedures including EEG EMG and nerve conduction studies.

• Your duties will include preparing patients for procedures operating neurophysiological equipment and analysing and interpreting test data.
• You will also be expected to maintain accurate records adhere to quality control protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• You will collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive neurophysiological care contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the neurophysiology department.

Who were looking

• HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist or equivalent
• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• Extensive experience in neurophysiology including advanced techniques
• Proficiency in using neurophysiological equipment and software
• Strong understanding of neuroanatomy physiology and pathology
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development
