Bank Housekeeper Private Hospital Dunedin Reading flexible working
Spire Dunedin Hospital is seeking a dedicated and motivated Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our Housekeeping Team on a bank contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and creating a welcoming environment for patients visitors and colleagues.
As a Housekeeper/Cleaner you will play a vital role in ensuring the hospital remains clean safe and hygienic at all times supporting the delivery of outstanding patient care within a professional healthcare setting.

Spire Dunedin Hospital has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading the hospital has two theatres 16 inpatient beds three recovery bays Oncology services and an Endoscopy Suite.
Duties and responsibilities:
Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct layout as needed
Cleaning and maintaining bedrooms offices public areas sterile services department and public toilets within the hospital
To work in close liaison with the clinical staff dealing with the varying needs of the hospital
Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH.
Carry out any other duties that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.
Who were looking for:
Previous experience in hospitality and/or housekeeping is desirable
No formal qualifications are required and full training will be provided.
Good knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety regulations would be beneficial.
You must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate well with other members of staff and patients in a professional manner.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Capable of working on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work
Flexible to work various shift patterns (early mornings days and evenings) and days across Monday-Sunday.
