An established independent secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham is looking for an experienced AV Technician to join its technical team on a permanent basis.
This is a hands-on role where youll be involved in everything from supporting classroom technology to helping with assemblies presentations performances and larger school events.
Set up and operate AV equipment for lessons meetings assemblies and events.
Provide day-to-day support with projectors displays microphones speakers and presentation systems.
Troubleshoot technical issues and get equipment back up and running quickly.
Support school productions performances and special events.
Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of AV equipment.
Help staff get the most from the schools AV systems.
Assist with equipment installations and upgrades.
Keep AV equipment organised and ready for use.
Were looking for someone with previous AV technical support or education-based AV experience who is comfortable working in a busy school environment.
Youll need a good understanding of audio visual and presentation technology along with the confidence to troubleshoot problems calmly when things dont go to plan.
Experience with live events theatre productions assemblies or conference-style AV setups would be particularly useful.
