CPS Group is looking for a practical hands-on AV Installation Technician to join our team. Youll install professional audio lighting and AV systems across commercial sites and venues throughout the South Coast.

This is a hands-on installation role not a sound engineering or music production position. Youll work with cabling hand and power tools equipment mounting fault finding and working at height.

AV experience is useful but not essential. Were also interested in candidates with backgrounds in electrical installation data cabling CCTV security fire alarms or similar technical trades.

The role includes installing AV audio and lighting equipment running and terminating cables installing containment mounting screens and speakers soldering servicing equipment PAT testing and fault finding.

Youll need practical installation experience confidence with tools and cabling basic electrical knowledge good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You must also be comfortable working from ladders and at height and have a clean full UK driving licence with van driving experience.

An ECS or CSCS card would be helpful but can be arranged for the right person. Full training will be provided on our AV audio and lighting systems.

We offer a permanent full-time position company pension on-site parking ongoing training and varied projects across the South Coast.

Some evening work travel and occasional overnight stays may be required. Weekend work is rare.
