Are you experienced in operating automated or CNC woodworking machinery and looking for your next opportunity

Were currently looking for an Automatic Crosscut Saw Operator to join a busy timber operation in Corby. Youll be working with a Hundegger automatic crosscut saw producing accurately cut timber components to meet production requirements.

• Setting up and operating the automatic crosscut saw
• Entering cutting lists and ensuring the machine is correctly programmed
• Inspecting timber for defects and making the best use of each piece to minimise waste
• Measuring and checking finished timber for accuracy and quality
• Carrying out routine machine checks cleaning and blade changes
• Working safely and following all site health and safety procedures

Ideally youll have:

• Previous experience operating automated or CNC woodworking machinery
• A good understanding of timber including common defects
• Strong measuring skills and excellent attention to detail
• A reliable practical approach to work
• A good attitude towards health and safety
• A valid forklift licence

• 14 per hour depending on experience
• Monday to Friday 7:30am4:30pm
• Temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent
• Immediate start
• PPE provided
• Full training provided on site
