Audit Senior

As an Audit Senior you will play a key role in leading assignments managing client relationships and supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver external audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK accounting standards
• Manage day-to-day client communication and build strong relationships
• Supervise mentor and review work completed by junior staff
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and added-value advisory work
• Ensure compliance with UK auditing standards and regulatory requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

• ACCA or ACA qualified (essential)
• Minimum 3 years UK accountancy practice experience with a strong focus on external audit
• Proven experience of managing audits for a range of clients
• Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively
• Experience using audit and accounting software (e.g. CCH CaseWare Xero Sage) is advantageous
