Audit Manager Opportunity
A well established and growing independent accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its team in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified audit professional looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while contributing to the ongoing growth and success of a highly respected regional firm.
The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of owner managed businesses charities and SMEs leading audit assignments building strong client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients across a range of sectors
Planning overseeing and reviewing audit assignments from start to completion
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and providing trusted advice.
Managing audit teams and ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently and to a high standard
Reviewing statutory accounts and audit files in accordance with relevant regulations
Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients
Coaching mentoring and developing junior and part qualified staff
Supporting Partners and senior leadership with complex assignments and business initiatives
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience in an Audit Manager Assistant Audit Manager or Senior Audit role within practice
Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards
Experience managing client relationships and leading audit engagements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
A proactive and commercial approach to client service
