You will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting audit and advisory services whilst managing your own client relationships and supporting junior team members.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts and tax computations for Limited Companies Sole Traders Partnerships and LLPs
- Produce management accounts and provide actionable insights to clients
- Complete and submit VAT returns (MTD compliant) accurately and on time
- Manage submissions to Companies House and HMRC
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients building strong relationships
- Support client onboarding including engagement processes and HMRC authorisations
- Assist with audit assignments (where applicable)
- Provide training mentoring and review of junior staff work
- Handle day-to-day client queries and contribute to service delivery excellence
You will be a confident accounting professional with strong technical ability and a proactive client-focused mindset.
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or QBE with significant experience)
- Minimum 46 years UK accountancy practice experience
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients independently
- Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts tax and compliance
- High proficiency with accounting software including Xero QuickBooks Sage Line 50 and Digita
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
- Experience in audit assignments
- Strong understanding of accounting disclosures and reporting standards
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify value-added advisory opportunities
- Full UK driving licence (not essential)
