Audit & Accounts Semi Senior

TPF Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing accountancy practice in Swanley who are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to take the next step in their career. You will work with a varied portfolio of clients gaining exposure across accounts audit tax and management accounts whilst receiving ongoing support and development.

As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior you will be responsible for a varied range of work including:

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies
  

• Preparing management accounts using Xero Sage and other accounting software
  

• Completing corporation tax computations and returns
  

• Supporting audit assignments where required
  

• Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
  

• Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
  

• Coaching leading and developing a team of trainees
  

The successful candidate will have experience working within an accountancy practice and a good understanding of accounts audit and corporation tax.

You will ideally have:

• AAT qualification and be studying towards ACA or ACCA
  

• At least 3 years experience within accountancy and audit
  

• Experience preparing statutory and management accounts
  

• Corporation tax experience
  

• Experience using accountancy software such as Xero Sage Iris Digita or My Work Papers
  

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  

• Good communication and client relationship skills
  

Experience with specific software is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
