As an independent practice Precision Hearing is not tied to any one manufacturer allowing the team to recommend the most appropriate hearing solutions based on each patients lifestyle needs and budget.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Audiologist Hearing Aid Dispenser final-year Audiology student postgraduate Audiologist or trainee Hearing Aid Audiologist looking to build a long-term career within an independent clinically focused hearing care business.

The role will initially be based from the Cambridge clinic with future opportunities to support partner optician clinics across the local area including March Chatteris Newmarket and Waterbeach.

This would suit someone who wants to be part of a growing business receive hands-on support and mentoring and develop within a high-quality independent environment where patient care comes before sales targets.

You will be responsible for delivering a professional patient-focused hearing care service including:

• Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments
• Recommending appropriate hearing solutions based on patient needs
• Fitting and fine-tuning hearing aids
• Providing ongoing aftercare and follow-up support
• Carrying out hearing aid adjustments and patient reviews
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
• Managing the patient journey from initial enquiry through to aftercare
• Building strong trusted relationships with patients
• Supporting the growth of Precision Hearings local reputation
• Working collaboratively with opticians and local healthcare partners
• Travelling to local clinics as the business grows

Precision Hearing provides a high-quality clinical service with access to modern technology and equipment.

Clinical testing may include:

• Full hearing assessments
• Speech-in-noise testing including AB Word List and QuickSIN
• ULLs
• REMs
• Otosuite / Otometrics / Aurical equipment
• Wax removal services
• Hearing aid fitting and aftercare

Full hearing assessments are typically allocated 1 hour 30 minutes allowing time for a detailed patient-centred consultation.

The clinic does not currently carry out tympanometry and does not offer hearing aid trials. Hearing aids are ordered specifically for each patient and are usually received within approximately 48 hours.

Precision Hearing provides a broad range of hearing care services including:

• Comprehensive hearing assessments

• Earwax removal using microsuction
• Custom hearing protection

• 32500 basic salary

Leads are generated through word of mouth local community reputation Google adverts social media local publications ENT relationships community sponsorships and online bookings.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• HCPC registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist or be working towards registration
• FdSc BSc or MSc in Audiology / Hearing Aid Audiology or equivalent
• Final-year Audiology students and postgraduate candidates will be considered
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent patient-care approach
• A professional and clinical mindset
• Commercial awareness without being target-led
• Confidence building trust with patients
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the patient journey
• A proactive self-motivated approach
• Willingness to travel locally as the business develops
• Clear spoken and written communication in English

Wax removal training can be provided if required. Precision Hearing will also support the cost of HCPC registration where applicable.
