Role Overview
The Junior / Associate Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of cross- functional projects/programmes that align with the strategic objectives of the organisation. This role involves overseeing multiple interrelated projects managing stakeholders ensuring resource alignment and delivering measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual on their project management journey with an interest in project delivery technology leadership and driving transformation in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning execution and delivery of projects from initiation through to closure
Define project scope goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop and manage project budgets timelines and resource plans
Coordinate cross-project activities and ensure alignment with strategic goals
Identify and manage project -level risks issues and dependencies
Establish governance structures and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and performance
Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels ensuring e ective communication and change management
Ensure compliance with internal policies industry standards and regulatory requirements
Support project managers and team members to build capability and ensure consistent delivery practices
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management Engineering IT or a related field
Desirable Qualifications:
Professional certification in project management (e.g. MSP PMP PRINCE2 Agile)
Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline
Experience:
Minimum 1 years of experience in project management
1 years experience in Financial Services sector
1 years of experience in technology solutions including datacentre campus networks cloud security software hardware EUS etc.
Understanding of services o ered by vendors such as Cisco Arista Juniper Fortinet Palo Alto etc.
Disciplined individual with experience in delivery and budget management
Experience working in matrixed organisations with cross-functional teams
Awareness and basic experience of project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
Awareness and basic experience of project and PMO teams tools and best practices
Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement
