Whats the role
As an Associate Product Manager you will help develop and improve digital products that make a real difference to Lewishams residents businesses and staff. You will take ownership of a digital product or a defined set of features within a larger product shaping its vision roadmap and priorities while using evidence and user insight to guide decisions.
Working alongside product designers software developers architects and other specialists you will turn user and business needs into accessible usable digital services. You will engage with stakeholders and partner organisations facilitate workshops and demonstrations manage a prioritised product backlog and define measures that show whether the product is delivering the intended outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their product management career within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. Experience of managing digital products creating a product vision and goals and leading a development team towards these goals.
Knowledge of the IT industry/technology solutions to manage and support the provision of digital solutions across the Council.
Good understanding and experience of gathering and clarifying business requirements
Good understanding and experience of managing the delivery of digital solutions to agreed business specifications
Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to communicate and generate understanding on technical issues for non-technical stakeholders
Able to think plan and act strategically and develop creative and innovative solutions to complex issues.
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and associate technology (Desirable)
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House Catford but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
Special conditions
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Desirable.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Desirable.

Salary
47367 - 49509 per annum per annum (PO2)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale) which is subject to evidential proof.
