Job Summary
Overview
The Corporate team are looking for a newly qualified-2 PQE associate to join the team in Birmingham.
Responsibilities
The candidate is needed to work with the team on a full range of corporate transactions in particular M&A and spin-out and venture capital transactions and ongoing company law/corporate advice. The role will involve drafting transaction documents and legal advice transaction management and engaging with clients and third parties to help deliver our successful applicant will be expected to get involved with the teams business development activities.
The firm operates a hybrid agile working policy allowing employees to work from home (or another UK location) for up to 50% of their time. Individuals can also apply for other flexible working options either at the time of recruitment or during the course of their employment.
Essential & Desirable Criteria
At least one seat in Corporate and a real interest in the practice area
SRA Qualified
NQ-2 years post qualification experience
The ideal candidate will be well-organised have strong core legal and drafting skills and be readily able to form and develop strong relationships with clients and business development contacts.
