We work with some of the biggest brands in the car industry to support their dealers to retail their vehicles such as Peugeot Bentley Renault Nissan Citreon JLR Aston Martin DS & Volvo.

Were now looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our Bradford based underwriting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated graduate or earlycareer professional who is eager to learn develop their technical skills and build a longterm career in underwriting. Whether youve gained experience through internships have had exposure to underwriting or other areas within insurance or you are simply interested in beginning your career within insurance this role offers handson experience and clear development opportunities.

What youll do:

• Assist with data analysis and reporting including preparing and maintaining underwriting reports using Excel

• Help maintain broker and client relationships through effective communication and timely responses.

• Research new business opportunities and monitor market trends.

• Support pricing decisions on multi million portfolios

• Contribute to compliance and regulatory processes

Were looking for a candidate with a strong academic background ideally in a numerate or businessfocused discipline such as Mathematics Sciences such as Chemistry or Physics Economics Actuarial Science or Business. You may have gained some experience in insurance through an internship or up to 12 years in a similar role with any underwriting or insurance exposure considered advantageous but this is not essential. Youll bring strong analytical skills and confidence working with data alongside solid Excel and reporting capabilities. Excellent communication skills a collaborative approach and a proactive attitude are key as is strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn and return youll receive full onthejob training and support with your professional development including encouragement to pursue CII qualifications with full financial support providing a fantastic opportunity to grow within a supportive highperforming team and build a successful career in the insurance industry
