Job Summary
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Site Manager for our client to cover their residential development in Hornastle starting on Wednesday 29th July up to and including Friday 14th August.
We are seeking a motivated driven and hungry Assistant Site Manager who can come in and make a difference and help push on a large fast moving new build housing development working alongside the Site Manager.
The successful candidates will be responsible for day to day site activities controlling sub contractors and ensuring that material supplies are available. Key responsibilities are meeting deadlines and making sure that quality standards remain high whilst keeping the health safety and welfare of the site workforce a top successful applicant must have excellent management skills with a thorough knowledge of both traditional and timber frame construction combined with a comprehensive health and safety understanding.
You will have a track record of effectively managing (or assisting with the management of) residential developments and producing high quality new homes on programme and to meet the needs of our valued customers.
The successful candidates should have an NVQ 6 and site management experience gained in house addition they should have a current SMSTS certificate and have a relevant up to date CSCS Managers card. It is essential to hold a First Aid at Work qualification along with Scaffold Appreciation.
The successful candidates should be capable of supervising all facets of construction at all levels and be fully conversant with all aspects of house building. You must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage and motivate site staff.
Required experience:
Site Management
Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or SSSTS for Assistants
Competent in Traditional Construction
First Aid at work Qualification (3 Day)
CSCS card holder (Black Site Managers CSCS preferred)
Must hold a full valid UK driving license
