Assistant Propositions Manager

Were looking for an Assistant Propositions Manager to join our Product & Propositions Development team within Retail Protection. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data detail and product insight and who wants to build a career in propositions.

Youll support a broad range of product and proposition activity from competitor analysis and MI reporting through to internal product information stakeholder queries and launch support. Over time there will also be the opportunity to develop knowledge in tax and trust a specialist area that is important to the future resilience of the team.

What youll be doing:

• Supporting the review and development of Retail Protection products through MI market and competitor analysis
• Producing clear reports and insight summaries to help identify opportunities and improve customer outcomes
• Working with colleagues across Finance claims underwriting pricing servicing IT and change to support proposition activity
• Preparing supporting documents for product development approvals and key internal committees
• Supporting product launches through sales briefings training materials and product information updates
• Monitoring competitor activity and comparison portals such as F&TRC and CI Expert
• Responding to product and proposition queries from distribution and internal teams
• Building knowledge in specialist areas such as tax and trust over time

Who were looking for:

• Good knowledge of Retail Protection products ideally including critical illness and income protection
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with MI Excel and data
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and well-structured information
• Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning how products propositions and customer outcomes connect
• Ability to communicate clearly with different stakeholders across the business
• A proactive organised and team-focused approach to managing varied work
• Confidence making practical recommendations from data competitor insight or product information
• Experience in claims operations underwriting distribution or product/propositions would be helpful
