Job Summary
Location: Birmingham (With Hybrid Working)
Role Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of M&E condition surveys and technical inspections.
- Assisting with pre-acquisition and due diligence surveys.
- Contributing to dilapidations assessments and technical reviews.
- Supporting the preparation of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and lifecycle replacement plans.
- Undertaking site visits to inspect mechanical and electrical systems and assets.
- Assisting in the monitoring of M&E installations and construction works to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Collecting analysing and recording asset data and survey information.
- Preparing technical reports survey findings and client deliverables under supervision.
- Working collaboratively with project managers cost consultants and wider multidisciplinary teams.
- Supporting the delivery of projects in accordance with company procedures quality standards and client requirements.
- Maintaining compliance with health safety environmental and quality management procedures.
- Developing an understanding of commercial contractual and procurement principles within project delivery.
- Taking ownership of your professional development and working towards chartership.
- Degree (or expected degree) in Building Services Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
- A strong academic record and genuine interest in building services engineering.
- Working towards or interested in pursuing professional membership with CIBSE IET or an equivalent professional body.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- An interest in sustainable building design engineering systems and the built environment.
- Tailored graduate training including mentorship from experienced Health and Safety professionals.
- Sponsorship and support to achieve professional qualifications including NEBOSH IOSH and eventual chartered status.
