Were looking for an Assistant Manager who can lead from the front support the General Manager and help drive the pub forward.

Whats the opportunity

As Assistant Manager youll play a key role in the day-to-day running of The Pavilion helping to create a pub that delivers great service great food and great experiences every time.

Youll:

• Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the pub.
• Take ownership of shifts and confidently lead the team in the GMs absence.
• Lead coach and develop the team helping people perform at their best.
• Maintain consistently high standards across service food cleanliness and customer experience.
• Make sure the pub is ready to deliver during busy services sporting events and key trading periods.
• Help drive sales and maximise opportunities across food drinks sport and events.
• Build strong relationships with customers and create an atmosphere that keeps people coming back.
• Ensure the team understands whats expected and delivers against our brand and operational standards.
• Support with stock rotas cash management and other day-to-day operational tasks.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure great communication between front and back of house.
• Help maintain high standards of health & safety licensing and compliance.
• Get involved in QPR home matchdays and other major sporting occasions ensuring the team is prepared for increased trade.
• Bring fresh ideas and energy to help grow the business.
• Act as a positive role model and help create a team culture where people feel supported valued and motivated.

What were looking for

Were looking for an experienced hospitality leader who:

• Has previous experience as an Assistant Manager Supervisor Team Leader or similar.
• Has experience working in a busy pub restaurant bar or high-volume hospitality environment.
• Is confident leading a team and taking ownership of a shift.
• Has strong communication skills and knows how to get the best from people.
• Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
• Is commercially aware and understands how great service can drive sales and repeat business.
• Can stay calm organised and hands-on when the pub gets busy.
• Is comfortable managing busy sporting occasions and large customer volumes.
• Has a good understanding of health & safety licensing and operational standards.
• Works well with both front and back of house teams.
• Is proactive energetic and isnt afraid to get stuck in.
• Has a genuine passion for hospitality and creating great customer experiences.
• Wants to continue developing their career and progress with Greene King.
