We are hiring foran innovative and fast-paced manufacturing company in Ballymena who are seeking a part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to support the finance team. The Role:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and departmental reports
• Help establish and update standard costs for both internal services and products sold externally
• Analysecosts and assess rates used in costings and overhead assessments
• Perform variance analysis of actual versus standard costs including gross margin contributions
• Prepare monthly inventory reports and assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Support sales and purchasing activities ensuring accurate intercompany reconciliations
• Assist with year-end audit preparations and liaise with external auditors
• Provide financial support across departments contributing to process improvements
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as required

The Person What Were Looking For

• 23 years experience in a similar finance role preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Part-qualified CIMA ACCA or ACA (or equivalent) with a strong desire to complete studies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAGE 500 or similar financial software is desirable
• Strong understanding of costing processes and financial reporting
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment prioritising competing deadlines
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams
