Assistant Litigation Solicitor

• Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters including pursued and defended claims

• Authoriseand review case strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements

• Assess evidenceprioritiseclaims and determineappropriate routesto settlement or judgment

• Represent theorganisationat court hearings where

• Providelegal guidance to the business on debt recovery processes and policy

• Collaborate with operational teams to support effective debt recovery activity

• Ensure cases are progressed efficiently in line with court deadlines and procedures

• Support team development through knowledge sharing and supervision where

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver consistent and effective legal support

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Practitioner with experience in civil litigation (5 Years)

• Strong knowledge of debt recovery and monetary claims

• Experience of county court proceedings and Civil Procedure Rules

• Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines

• Strong communicationskills including confidence in handling difficult conversations

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability

• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills

• Confident using Microsoft Office tools including Word ExcelOutlookand SharePoint

Desirable:Advocacy experience supervision experience and understanding of regulated environments. Full drivinglicenceand access to a vehicle.
