Job Summary

A unique opportunity is available for an outstanding classroom practitioner to combine high-quality teaching with strategic leadership as an Assistant Headteacher at Chestnut Park Primary School.

Your Opportunity

In this pivotal role you will help shape the schools future through data-driven insight innovation and a relentless focus on improving outcomes for every child. Working closely with the Headteacher you will help drive a culture of high expectations continuous improvement and inclusive excellence ensuring every pupil is supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.

  • Qualified teacher status
  • NPQH or willingness to undertake
  • Experience of management at a senior level
  • Successful teaching and curriculum experience
  • Knowledge of primary principles and practice
  • Ability to lead change
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to a range of audiences
  • Positive enthusiastic outlook embracing risk and innovation

Pay Scale: GLF Leadership Point 1 to Point 8 (dependent on experience)
