You ensure and maintain a smooth day-to-day work routine within the Finance department as well as the effective coordination and control of the month-end process. As anAssistant Financial Controller youre not just ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance youre spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Heres what youll do during a typical day:

• Manage the Bank Reconciliation on a daily basis. Balancing PDQ Bacs and Cash

• Manage the Aged Debtors process on a daily basis supporting the preparation of Sales Ledger invoicing managing all Hotels Ledgers relating to Sales. Dealing with all Ar accounts ensuring all invoices paid according to terms

• Support Income Audit Processes

• Support AccountsPayable preparation of Purchase Orders Invoice processing.

• Support & Supervise daily Finance operations.

• Ad-hoc finance duties set by Director ofFinance

In addition this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

• Degree in Commerce Accounting Management or related field; certified in Finance/Accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication analytical skills and flexibility during the month/year-end
