Introduction to therole
Thisnewly formedrole will takeresponsibility for all People and HR mattersacross a member of the Leadership Team you will help us to achieve our strategic aims andobjectivesby actively contributing to corporate decision-making policyformulationand business that robust controls are effectivelyoperatedacross performance managementandemployee relationswhile embedding a culture ofwellbeingsupportand development.
Rolepurpose
Reporting to theChief People & Governance Officer youwillleadaHumanResourcesteamof 10 peoplebringing together two teams from legacyorganisationstoprovide aharmonisedandcomprehensive servicefor the entire employeelifecycle.
To support engagement and retention you willform astrong relationship withour Colleague Forum to deliver a competitivecolleaguerewardofferthat is externally benchmarked and regularly communicated to new and existing employees.
Youwill support the Group in achieving its corporate diversity and inclusion initiatives and work withall areas of the businessto champion inclusivity and equality.
To ensure the standard of theHRserviceis measured youwill gather and monitor relevant feedback and performance indicators reporting to keypartiesand taking remedial action as necessary.

Key Accountabilities:

Providing strong strategic and operational leadership and direction to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the full range of services within HR; including business partnering talent managementorganisationaldevelopmentand reward management

Delivering workplace wellbeing equity and staff engagement initiatives

Leading on structural transformation workforce planning and employment policy implementation

Leadingmonitoringand delivering complex projects on timewithinbudgetwhilstachieving stated outcomes

Driving continuous improvement and innovation in HR practices to influence positive change from all aspects of the employee journey

Proactively lead and provide solutions to workforce challengesin accordance withtheorganisationsstrategic aims andobjectives
Whatarewelookingfor
Essential:

CIPD Accreditation (Level 7)

In-depth knowledge of employment legislationincluding TUPE

Experience of influencing at a senior level

Able to think and act independently

Expertisein workforce equality employee engagement and organisational change

A passion for creating inclusive workplaces where everyone can belong and succeed

Excellent communicationreportingand stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical capabilityboth in budget management and whenusing data to drive insight and improvement
