What youll be doing

As a Buyer in the Global Sourcing team you will play a pivotal role in sourcing products from ethically validated and sustainable suppliers. Your expertise will directly contribute to Boots Own Brand Product Portfolio ensuring that we deliver high-quality products that resonate with our customers. This role is essential for managing supplier relationships and driving innovative sourcing strategies that align with our business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships performance and risk.
• Support the development of sourcing and commodity strategies.
• Deliver cost-effective and innovative raw materials and packaging for our consumer brands.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements.
• Track and predict commodity price movements.
• Develop global supply chains to support international growth plans.
• Gather and analyse data to provide sourcing recommendations.

What youll need to have (our must-haves)

• Strong cross-functional team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience in sourcing componentry and packaging items within a nominated buying model.
• Ability to interrogate data produce reports and articulate recommendations clearly.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines independently.
• Strong commercial acumen.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience in a supplier-facing role within the consumer goods sector.
• Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices.
• Familiarity with global supply chain management.
• Additional qualifications in procurement or supply chain management.
