Wehave an exciting opportunityto appoint anAsset Management Inspectorto support the delivery of ourasset work acrossWest Sussex andHampshiretoensureassets are safeeffectiveresilientand that ourfuture investment requirementsare fully understood.

You will be expected tomanage your own workloadandwork flexiblyaccording to the demands of the role with support from colleagues.

Knowing the condition of our assets underpins ourrisk-basedapproachto asset information is used to help usplan our workandtarget our resources.

You will becollecting informationonflood riskandenvironmentalassetson site andcarrying out a programme of visual inspectionstodetermineassetconditionsidentifysafetyissuesand liaise withcolleaguesto correct will alsoprocess the asset informationin ourassetinformationmanagement system.

This role will include:
-Inspecting assetsacrossWest Sussex and Hampshire to assess/highlightasset conditionandsafetyissues

-Processingandcleansing asset data
-Assisting area and national asset management staff where required.

Incident Response

Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be asked to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract anadditionalpayment and full training will be available to support you with your incident role.
