ASD Teacher The Role

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to secondary-aged students with ASD
Create structured learning environments that support communication engagement and independence
Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning profiles and abilities
Work closely with Teaching Assistants Therapists and families to support student progress
Promote positive outcomes both academically and socially

ASD Teacher What the School is Looking For

The ideal ASD Teacher will hold QTS and have experience working with students with Autism and additional SEND needs. Applications are also welcomed from teachers with mainstream secondary experience who have a genuine interest in transitioning into specialist education.

The school is seeking a patient reflective and adaptable practitioner who understands the importance of routine consistency and relationship-building when supporting autistic learners. Experience within a SEND school ARP specialist provision or inclusive mainstream setting would be highly advantageous.
