The role
As an Asbestos Consultant at SGS you will carry out consultancy and surveying activities across a variety of client sites ensuring asbestos risks are identified assessed and managed safely and compliantly.
Youll operate across a mix of environments from industrial locations commercial premises and domestic properties delivering high-quality surveys and reports that clients rely on to stay compliant and safe
What youll be doing
- Conduct asbestos surveys and safely sample suspect materials in line with industry standards
- Accurately record findings and produce clear compliant reports
- Assess asbestos risks and provide practical advice on management or removal
- Build strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
- Support quality assurance activities audits and continuous improvement
Qualifications :
- BOHS P402 (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation regulations and best practice
- Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Full driving licence to use in the UK and willingness to travel
