This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment and is passionate about helping children develop their artistic skills through engaging practical activities.

Working alongside teaching staff you will prepare materials maintain specialist equipment and ensure classrooms are fully equipped for creative lessons. You will play an important role in helping pupils explore a wide range of artistic techniques while maintaining a safe organised and inspiring learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing materials for Art lessons.

  • Organising Art resources and equipment.

  • Maintaining stock levels.

  • Supporting teachers during practical sessions.

  • Preparing classroom displays.

  • Assisting with exhibitions and school events.

  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment.

  • Organising storage areas.

  • Monitoring health and safety procedures.

  • Supporting creative workshops.

  • Preparing demonstration materials.

  • Assisting with ordering resources.

  • Maintaining departmental inventories.

  • Supporting extracurricular Art activities.

  • Providing administrative support where required.

Requirements
  • Previous Art Technician or creative experience is desirable.

  • Good practical artistic skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills.
