A welcoming Faith Secondary School in Sheffield is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join its supportive Art Department. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging practical lessons while developing their artistic technical and critical-thinking skills. Recent Sheffield Art vacancies have focused on delivering Art across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs.
Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3-KS5
Develop students creative and practical skills
Teach a range of media techniques and artistic styles
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level where required
Assess progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain strong classroom and behaviour standards
Contribute to exhibitions enrichment and departmental activities
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong Art and Design subject knowledge
Experience teaching Art at secondary level
Excellent classroom management skills
Creative and engaging teaching approach
Strong communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
