Our Client is looking for an Art Teacher to work within a Mixed School in Norwich. The successful Art Teacher will be expected to teach Art and Design across KS3 & KS4 and will join a supportive and well-established department. The department is well resourced and benefits from an approachable and supportive Head of Department who is committed to developing both staff and students. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a school where creativity academic achievement and student development are highly valued.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Art and Design lessons that encourage students to develop their creativity technical skills and confidence. The school is happy to receive applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs in addition to overseas teachers with a formal teaching qualification.

• Art Teacher with the ability to teach Art and Design at KS3 & KS4

• Experience delivering engaging practical and theory-based Art lessons

• A formal teaching qualification with QTS such as a PGCE

• Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic techniques and creative processes

• Ability to differentiate lessons to support students with different abilities and learning needs

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Experience assessing student work and providing constructive feedback

• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Legal ability to work within the UK
