Salary/Hours: MPS/UPS dependent on experience Full-time
Wayman Education is looking for a creative and dedicated Art and Design Teacher who can encourage students to experiment develop practical skills and express their ideas through visual art. This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about creativity and helping students discover their artistic potential.
The school values creativity independent thinking and a broad curriculum. Students are encouraged to explore different techniques and materials while developing the confidence to communicate ideas through their work.
Teach Art and Design across KS3 and KS4 with GCSE experience desirable.
Plan practical lessons that develop drawing painting design and other artistic techniques.
Support students in building portfolios and evaluating their creative work.
Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a safe organised and stimulating learning environment.
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has a relevant Art and Design background.
Can deliver engaging practical lessons and encourage experimentation.
Understands how to support students with different levels of artistic confidence.
Is organised creative and committed to student progress.
Competitive MPS/UPS salary dependent on experience and the schools pay structure.
