Area Manager - Liverpool & Chorley
Our client is a growing hospitality and retail business seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee a number of sites across Liverpool and Chorley. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business and play a key role in driving operational commercial and people performance across multiple locations.
This role would suit an experienced multi-site operator who takes ownership of their sites enjoys developing teams and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining strong commercial performance.
The Role
- Day-to-day management and performance of multiple sites across Liverpool and Chorley.
- Taking full ownership and accountability for the operational and commercial performance of each location.
- Leading coaching and developing Store Managers and wider teams to achieve business objectives.
- Monitoring performance reducing waste and improving operational efficiency.
- Analysing P&L performance and developing strategic plans to improve sales and profitability.
- Conducting audits across invoicing stock control and daily banking to ensure accuracy.
- Preparing reviewing and reporting on budgets while addressing issues impacting sales and profitability.
- Supporting teams in delivering promotions effectively and maintaining excellentcustomer service standards.
- Ensuring sites are visually appealing well maintained and consistently meet company standards.
- Working closely with stakeholders and Head Office on the planning recruitmentand opening of new sites.
- Supporting business growth and market expansion through effective operational strategies.
- Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Developing strategies to improve employee retention and reduce turnover.
- Coaching mentoring and motivating colleagues to create a supportive and high-performing environment.
The Candidate
- Proven leadership experience ideally within a multi-site retail convenience hospitality or similar management role.
- Ability to drive results through effective leadership and team motivation.
- A strong track record of achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable operational and commercial awareness including experience of managing P&L performance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- A Full Clean UK Driving Licence is required due to travel between locations.
The Package
38-40k Basic Salary DOE plus Bonus Incentive.
