Approved Mental Health Professional

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Worker to join its clients Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) team based in Salisbury. This is a3-month temporary assignmentwith potential futuretemp-to-perm opportunities.

What will your responsibilities be

• Undertake Mental Health Act assessments and urgent social care assessments.
• Respond to referrals and complete duty work.
• Safeguard adults with complex mental health needs.
• Work closely with health and social care partners across Wiltshire.
• Provide support and supervision to students and unqualified staff.

Benefits:

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have;

• CurrentAMHP approval.
• Social Work England registration.
• Experience within Mental Health and/or Adult Services.
• Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding legislation.
