This role is being advertised for 2 weeks.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn gaining hands-on experience across a range of trades while working towards a Level 3 qualification. Supported by experienced colleagues and mentors youll develop the knowledge practical skills and confidence to maintain and improve our homes for residents across our communities.

As an Apprentice Multi Trade Operative you will assist with responsive repairs planned maintenance and void property works while learning how to carry out repairs safely professionally and to a high standard. Youll work across multiple trade disciplines and gain valuable experience diagnosing issues completing repairs and delivering excellent customer service in residents homes.

Throughout your apprenticeship youll develop skills in:

  • Basic carpentry repairs and installations

  • Plumbing maintenance and repairs

  • Plastering and patch repairs

  • Decorating and property improvements

  • Wall and floor tiling

  • General building maintenance

  • Fault diagnosis and problem solving

  • Health and safety best practice

  • Customer service and communication

  • Use of mobile technology and repair management systems

  • Organising materials equipment and workloads effectively

No two days will be the same. Youll work alongside experienced operatives support the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services and build a broad range of practical skills that will set you up for a successful future career.
