Job Description

Hours of Work: 32.50 hours per week Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm. Term time only

Contract Type: Fixed Term Term time only (18 months)

Eastwood Community Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils by supporting their learning and development in a safe inclusive and stimulating environment.

As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Support pupils with a range of needs including those with special educational requirements.
  • Foster positive relationships and encourage independence confidence and self-esteem.
  • Help create a welcoming purposeful classroom environment where every child can succeed.
  • Work towards a Teaching Assistant qualification

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
  • Flexible and proactive with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
