Apprentice Site Manager

Full Time - 35 hours per week
Contract Length: Up to 39 Months

As an Apprentice Site Manager youll gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a recognised Level 4 qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn and develop practical skills in a supportive environment.

Successful candidates will be expected to travel to their assigned college training provider or workplace as required.

What Youll Be Doing
Supporting the delivery of construction and maintenance projects on site
Assisting with planning coordination and daily site activities
Helping to ensure works are completed safely on time and to a high standard
Developing practical skills through on-the-job training and college learning
Following health and safety procedures including PPE and COSHH regulations
Working with contractors and suppliers to support efficient project delivery
Carrying out basic inspections and supporting quality checks
Supporting site administration and maintaining accurate records
Building positive relationships with residents and stakeholders
Demonstrating professionalism reliability and a willingness to learn while engaging in training and development

What Were Looking For
Excellent customer service skills
A strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning
Commitment to both workplace and academic learning
Good organisation skills and ability to manage tasks effectively
A full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain one during the apprenticeship)
5 GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) including Maths and English
Previous Level 3 Construction based qualification with relevant experience in construction and the built environment.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship at SHG you must:
Have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for a minimum of 3 years by the start of the apprenticeship.
Be eligible to work in the UK full time for the duration of the apprenticeship contract.
Applicants must not already hold the same or higher-level qualification in the same subject area

Assessment Day
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day on the 28thJuly 2026.

Training & Development
You will receive both on-the-job and off-the-job training with day-release attendance at college. A structured induction and training plan will support you throughout your apprenticeship leading to a recognised qualification upon completion.
