Work Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hours per week)
Salary: 12.96ph
Alliance Healthcare part of Cencora is seeking a dependable and hardworking Transport Porter to join our Coatbridge Distribution Centre. Supporting our wholesale distribution services across Europe you will play a vital role in ensuring customer orders are accurately sorted routed and loaded for delivery.
Working as part of a busy transport operation you will help maintain service levels by ensuring products are handled safely efficiently and in line with company procedures.
- Accurately check orders and totes against route documentation and drop sheets.
- Identify record and report any missing orders or totes to the Line Manager.
- Allocate orders and totes to the correct pallet or route cage.
- Prioritise orders according to vehicle departure schedules.
- Load vehicles safely and accurately in line with operational instructions.
- Ensure all bins boxes bags pallets and cages are handled and stored safely.
- Follow load security procedures to ensure goods remain secure during transit.
- Sort and organise empty totes in designated locations.
- Safely transfer orders to loading bays in preparation for dispatch.
- Carry out re-picks of missing orders when required.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies procedures and site standards.
- Support with additional warehouse and transport tasks as directed by management.

- Previous experience within a warehouse logistics transport or distribution environment.
- Experience loading and unloading vehicles safely.
- Understanding of warehouse Health & Safety requirements.
- Experience working to delivery schedules and operational deadlines.
