AGSE Product Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out the inspection servicing maintenance repair and refurbishment of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE).
• Diagnose faults across mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure equipment is returned to service efficiently.
• Perform testing calibration and certification activities in line with company and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and internal departments.
• Complete maintenance records technical reports and associated documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company quality safety and compliance procedures.
• Support equipment commissioning installation and customer training activities where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality reliability and operational efficiency.

Knowledge and Skills

• Previous engineering experience within aerospace manufacturing rail or a similar technical industry.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across mechanical systems.
• Experience using workshop tools test equipment and calibration equipment.
• Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Previous experience working with Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) would be advantageous.
• Experience of calibration and testing processes is desirable.
• Knowledge of aviation industry standards would be beneficial; full training will be provided.
• Qualification in a Mechanical Electrical Aerospace or Engineering discipline is desirable.
