Were looking for an enthusiastic and caring Playworker / Activity Leader to join our After School Club team at Eastbury Farm Primary School.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help create a safe welcoming and exciting environment where children can learn play and develop through a variety of activities including sports games arts & crafts and structured play.

No two days are the same and every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact.

About the Role

At Junior Adventures Group were passionate about delivering high-quality childcare that supports childrens development through play and enrichment.

As a Playworker youll help deliver engaging activities encourage participation and create a fun inclusive environment where every child feels safe supported and valued.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic creative and passionate about working with children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities including sports games arts & crafts and structured play
  • Create a fun inclusive and safe environment for children
  • Support children during arrivals activities and collection times
  • Follow safeguarding health & safety and company procedures at all times
  • Ensure all sign-in and sign-out procedures are completed correctly
  • Prepare and provide refreshments while maintaining high hygiene standards
  • Assist with setting up and packing away equipment and activity areas
  • Complete accident incident and activity records where required
  • Communicate professionally with children parents colleagues and school staff
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage participation and engagement

  • Previous experience working with children (desirable)
  • A positive enthusiastic and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable responsible and able to follow procedures
  • The ability to create a fun and safe environment for children
  • Energy creativity and a genuine passion for childcare and playwork
