Advanced Practitioner 16 Team Grade 9

Salary: 54267 - 58461 per annum

Team: 16 Team

Working alongside the Team Manager you will manage a complex caseload support and mentor colleagues champion high-quality safeguarding practice and contribute to service improvement and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex safeguarding and child protection cases.
• Supervise coach and mentor Social Workers ASYEs and students.
• Chair complex meetings and contribute to safeguarding decision-making.
• Prepare high-quality reports for Court and Child Protection Conferences.
• Support practice development and service improvement.
• Build effective partnerships with children families and partner agencies.
• Deputise for the Team Manager when required.

About You

You will have:

• A recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration.
• Significant experience in statutory Childrens Social Care.
• Strong safeguarding child protection and court experience.
• Excellent assessment analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience of supervising or mentoring others.
• Good knowledge of childrens legislation and safeguarding practice.
