Job Summary

Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Out of Hours

Location: Berwick-upon-Tweed
Salary: Competitive DOE (Depending on Experience)

We are recruiting an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our Out of Hours (OOH) service.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

Assess diagnose and treat patients of all ages.
Provide telephone triage centre-based consultations and home visits.
Deliver high-quality urgent and palliative care.
Prescribe medication and maintain accurate clinical records.

Requirements

Independent Prescriber (essential).
Masters degree (or equivalent) in Advanced Clinical Practice or working towards one.
Confident treating patients of all ages.
Happy to provide palliative care.
Willing to undertake triage centre visits and home visits.
Able to work across most service sites.
Willing to pick up regular shifts where available.
Reliable and committed to completing the onboarding process.
Must live locally.

Mandatory OOH Training

Online induction (weekday evening 7:00 pm 10:00 pm).
Palliative Care training (weekday evening 7:00 pm 8:30 pm).
One 4-hour shadowing shift before working independently.

Right to Work Share Code (if applicable).
