Adult Social Worker Learning Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Worker to join its clients Learning Disabilities team based in Manchester Council. This is a locum role offering 30 per hour.

What will your responsibilities be

In this role you will:

• Undertake strengthbased assessments including Care Act assessments reviews and Mental Capacity Act assessments for adults with learning disabilities ensuring needs risks and desired outcomes are clearly identified
• Develop and coordinate personalised care and support plans commission services and manage a varied caseload to promote independence wellbeing and community inclusion
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals including health services providers families and safeguarding partners
• Complete safeguarding enquiries and manage risks effectively while promoting the rights and safety of adults with learning disabilities
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work is in line with statutory requirements and best practice

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
