We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to help support the North American Placement team at Guy Carpenter on an 8 Month Fixed Term Contract. This is available on a hybrid basis offering home working for 2 days with the other 3 days based in our office in London.
Within this role you will provide efficient administrative support to the wider team. To be successful you will need to be detail-oriented adaptable and confident working in a fast-paced professional environment.
This role is ideal for a recent A-Level (or equivalent) / school leaver or Graduate eager to launch their career or for someone with prior experience in an administrative role.
We will rely on you to:
Manage diaries for senior-level employees including scheduling internal and external meetings and coordinating with clients and support staff as needed.
Efficiently process expenses and arrange relevant travel bookings as required
Create and edit documents using PowerPoint Excel and Word ensuring all materials meet established standards and are kept up to date.
Carry out routine administrative duties and assist with specific projects as required.
Collect organize and reconcile receipts identifying any missing documentation.
Provide cover for other Administrative Assistants to ensure seamless support across the team.
Maintain confidentiality at all times particularly when handling sensitive information and internal policies.
Work as a proactive team player offering assistance during quieter periods.
What you need to have:
Previous administrative and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office especially Word Excel and PowerPoint
Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Professional discreet and trustworthy
Confident clear and concise communication skills
A flexible collaborative approach with a willingness to help where needed
