Job Summary

Somerset Community Colleges Career and Technical Division is seeking qualified candidates for an adjunct lab assistant for the HVAC Program at the Somerset Campus.

Job Duties:

The HVAC Lab Assistant supports faculty and students in laboratory and classroom settings by assisting with hands-on instructional activities maintaining equipment and supplies and promoting a safe learning environment. This position does not provide formal instruction evaluate student performance or serve as the instructor of record.

Minimum Qualifications:

Work experience in the Air Conditioning Technology (HVAC) field ( 3 years or more preferred).
Demonstrates expertise in the the technical skills and processes associate with the program.
Knowledge of HVAC tools equipment safety procedures and industry practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Skills Requested:

Relevant years and scope of occupational experience.
Experience with equipment tools technology and safety practices used in HVAC.
Ability to assist students with hands-on laboratory exercises while following instructor directions and established procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with students faculty staff and visitors.
